material Our idea for this roomhouse is to recycle 25.000 glass bottles in the area of our community. With the bottles we produce self-made bottle bricks, so the light can come through easily. The leftovers of the cut bottles will be grinded and used as an addition for the mortar. As a further addition to the cement-sand mixture, we decided to use lime to make the mortar lighter. The construction is a concrete skeleton, which is completely covered in green bottles.
